Staff Selection

Rules to go by when choosing staff
1. Medical screening
-Ascertain applicants medical history related to foodborne illness and food poisoning/persistant diarrhea
-Complete medical questionnaire
-Interview by a doctor or nurse if necessary
-Do a stool/blood test if necessary

2.Personal appearance and attitude

  1. Zipei : you may include that the staff should have short and clean nails no evidence of nail- bitting.
    Staff should not wear excessive makeups or accessory/jewelleries. Staff should have clean shoes and resistant to slip.

  2. yuan ling: points like staff should also be free from skin infection, neat and clean, and show willingness to learn about preventing contamination can be also addded

    Another point to consider is whether the staff has any allergies when come in contact with any kind of food

  6. Yongchieh: You should elaborate more about this part, example if the staff have good personal hygiene-> Checking of the uniform,see if it's iron and clean, Checking of nails,Checking of hair,see if it's short and clean...etc
